Eligibility for business parking permits
To qualify for business parking permits the business must:
- be located within a ResPark zone
- pay business rates directly to the council
- have no off-street parking at the property - this includes space that is being used for purposes other than parking
- not be occupied - if someone lives at the business premises they may be entitled to a household parking permit
If applicable, the property must be verified as an approved holiday let or Air B&B, by emailing highway.regulation@york.gov.uk.
Only 1 permit will be issued per property and no visitor parking permits are allowed.
