Each ward has a budget to spend on local priorities. Ward committees make recommendations to the Director of Housing and Communities on how the money should be spent.

Community groups can apply for ward grants for community projects. Once approved, we record ward funding decisions in a monthly register.

Check your ward page for details of your ward's budget and priorities, and whether the ward grant application process is currently open in your area.

You can also apply for the Ward Budget City Wide Fund, which compliments the funding available through individual ward grant applications, and is specifically designed to support projects operating in 2 or more wards in the city.
