Types of ResPark permit
Various permits are available for residents within ResPark zones and their visitors:
- Household permits (and additional permits)
- Visitor parking permits
- Special control parking permits
- House in multiple occupancy parking permits
- Disabled parking permits
Permits are also available for people who may own properties within a zone, or have a commercial requirement for parking there:
- Guest house parking permits
- Property parking permits
- Landlord and management agents permits
- Business parking permits
- Commercial parking permits
- Community parking permits
Owners of properties used as holiday lets in a resident parking area who require permits for their paying customers should email: highway.regulation@york.gov.uk for information.
Larger developments within ResPark zones
If you live in a large housing development within a ResPark zone, such as a block of flats, you may not be eligible to apply for a parking permit.
