Using the Minster Badge permit
This is a digital permit and no physical permit will be issued.
There's no need to display a permit in your vehicle; our Civil Enforcement Officers use number plate recognition to confirm if vehicles are covered by a valid permit.
The Minster badge discount applies automatically at Pay on Exit and when using Pay by Phone, there is no need to use a separate location code as the discount is linked to your vehicle registration number.
Please allow 10 days before using your Minster badge in Pay on Exit or Pay by Phone.
A Minster Badge permit discount is available at the following council car parks.

To qualify for discounts, you must have a valid minster badge permit.
A penalty charge notice (PCN) may be issued if you:
- have an expired Minster Badge permit
- haven't paid relevant parking charges
