Assistance with school uniform

You don't need to apply for assistance with school uniform, as we identify pupils who are eligible for this in June each year.

If your child is in primary school, we would advise that you contact your school to discuss any assistance or pre-loved exchanges. Find the contact details for your primary school.

Uniform assistant grant vouchers have been issued to eligible pupils in year 7,8,9 and 10 for the 2023/24 academic year, with vouchers posted to eligible parents and carers in July 2023.

Eligibility for assistance with school uniform for the start of the 2023 to 2024 academic year

Assistance is available for eligible pupils in Year 7, 8, 9 and 10 attending maintained schools (Huntington School or Joseph Rowntree School). If your child attends a school within an Academy Trust, you should contact the school directly to enquire about their assistance.

Assistance is only provided once per year for the start of the school year. If you become eligible over the summer break and attend a maintained school (Huntington School or Joseph Rowntree School) we'll issue a uniform voucher. Vouchers will only be issued until the end of August. Please be aware that we may be required to provide your details to the uniform supplier if schools are closed. If you would prefer us not to do this contact us.

We will provide school uniform assistance in the form of vouchers to the value of:

  • £100.00 for pupils starting Year 7
  • £50.00 for pupils starting Years 8, 9, or 10

Redeem school uniform vouchers through our approved school uniform suppliers.
