Guest house parking permits

Eligibility for guest house parking permits

To qualify for Guest House parking permits:

the property must be located within a ResPark zone
the property must be verified as an approved guest house by the council's Parking Services

Guest house approval

In order for your business to be verified as an approved guest house by Parking Services you'll need to provide the following information by email to: parking@york.gov.uk:

the guest house name
the guest house address
details of how many guest rooms the property has

You'll also need to include 1 of the following documents with your email:

documentary evidence that your guest house or small hotel is registered with the Visit York Tourist Information Centre
documentary evidence that you have planning consent for use as a guest house or small hotel
proof of compliance with health and safety and fire regulations
a copy of your Business Rates annual demand
