The York Fuel and Food Voucher Scheme was initially set up as part of the Household Support Fund Scheme which was approved on Monday 8 November 2021. The scheme has been extended as part of York Crisis and Resilience Fund (CRF).
York Fuel and Food Voucher Scheme is delivered by advice support workers from both City of York Council as well as partner organisations.
Applications can only be considered is part of an overall financial capability advice or support assessment, by phone or face-to-face, including as appropriate benefits checks and other information about reducing outgoings, for example social tariffs for broadband, energy efficiency measures.
