York Financial Assistance Scheme (YFAS) provided help to York residents facing financial difficulties or emergency situations.
YFAS applications closed on 1 April 2026.
Support is now available from the York Crisis and Resilience Fund (CRF).
If you made a YFAS application before 1 April 2026, you your application will be considered, and you will be notified of the decision as soon as possible.
You can provide the information needed to support your application, including bank statements, budget information and background information by:

- post to: YFAS, West Offices, Station Rise, York, YO1 6GA
- an in person appointment at West Offices - please book an appointment first
