We can remove 'bonded asbestos' items such as:
- corrugated roofing sheets
Items should measure no more than 1.8m x 0.6m (approx) as we're only able to remove smaller items.
You can only request an asbestos collection if you've removed the material from the property yourself. If a builder has removed the asbestos, they're responsible for disposing of it safely.
Request an asbestos collection
Contact us with the following information:
- name, address and contact telephone number
- collection address
- quantity and type of items to be collected
- details of where they will be left for collection
We'll then arrange an initial visit, to assess the asbestos for collection. Follwing the assessment, we'll provide you with a free, no obligation quote.
If you're happy with the removal price, contact us again to arrange collection at a later date.
We can visit to assess or collect asbestos on Tuesdays, Wednesdays and Thursdays according to the ward you live in. Asbestos assessments and collection days are the same as for other bulky waste collections.
You should allow a minimum of 5 working days notice when booking a collection. If you call the day before the scheduled collection date for your area, we can't guarantee that we'll be able to deal with your request.
Preparing asbestos for collection
You should prepare your asbestos for collection according to the guidelines on disposing of bonded asbestos safely.
Asbestos should be presented outside, in an accessible place, double wrapped in heavy duty plastic, not bin bags or carrier bags.
Guide to charges for asbestos collection
Prices are for guidance only, as you may not be able to accurately assess how much asbestos you have.
If you're not happy with our quote after your assessment, you're not obliged to proceed with the collection.
- up to 200kg - £105 (including VAT)
- over 200kg - price will be confirmed after assessment
