If contested, there will be a by-election for Heworth Ward on Thursday 15 January 2026.
Nomination papers can be obtained, during normal office hours, from the Returning Officer via Electoral Services.
Nomination papers must be hand delivered to the Returning Officer, from Monday 8 December, Monday to Friday between 10.00am and 4.00pm but not later than 4.00pm on Tuesday 16 December.
