Temporary parking suspension notices

A temporary parking suspension notice is a legal document that restricts parking in a specific street, space, zone or bay for things like:

• road and utility works
• construction and building projects
• allowing heavy machinery or deliveries access to a site
• special events, street parties, weddings, funerals

The restrictions may permit parking by approved vehicles, such as utility trucks, moving vans, machinery, film crews, hearses.

Temporary parking suspension notices

All parking suspension notices take place from 1 minute after midnight on the start date to 11.59pm on the end date, unless the specific times are shown. If a notice covers more than one day, the restrictions may not be in place the whole time - check availability using the One.Network map.

Expired parking suspension notices

Where a temporary parking suspension notice has ended, but signage remains in place, you may remove the notice (and dispose of it responsibly) after the expiry date has passed. For efficiency, we only actively take down notices if we’re revisiting the area to undertake work nearby.
