Managing Customer Relations Policy

Reviewing the restrictions

Restrictions will last a maximum of 12 months and the maximum amount of time from the start of a restriction being imposed, until a review is held, is 6 months.

If the restrictions are no longer required, they will be lifted subject to agreement with the customer that their unreasonable behaviour will cease.

On expiry or being lifted, immediate consideration will be given to re-introducing restrictions if the customer’s unreasonable demands, behaviour or actions or aggression or abuse that led to the original decision, starts again.

Reviewing the policy

This policy will be reviewed every 24 months from 1 May 2025, unless managers advise through escalation that there are circumstances involving managing challenging customer relations that this policy does not currently cover.
