Blue Badge parking in city centre car parks
Most council-run car parks, have designated bays for Blue Badge holders, situated for easy access.
With the exception of except Marygate Car Park*, Blue Badge holders can park in any of our car parks, within opening hours, free of charge, using either an accessible space, or a standard bay.
*Marygate Car Park has 17 free parking bays for use by Blue Badge holders, outside of the car park. However, if Blue Badge holders go through the barrier they'll be subject to parking charges, via the 'pay on exit' Automatic Number Plate Recognition (APRN system that's in place.
