Online Talking Points drop in sessions
Adult social care are unable to run ‘in person’ Talking Points at the moment however will be starting these again soon. Online drop-in sessions are available for residents to talk with City of York Council’s Adult Social Care team face-to-face in a safe but effective way.
The drop ins are available on Wednesdays and Thursdays from 10.00am to midday, and from 2.00pm to 4.00pm.
See further information about how to attend our drop in sessions.
As with our in person Talking Points, you'll be able to access information, advice and support from adult social care staff as well as find out more about local activities, support and resources.
Our Talking Points give you the opportunity to have informal face to face conversations with our adult social care staff, who can help you talk through options and get advice in a more personal way.
This is the beginning of a new approach to adult social care which helps you decide how to meet your goals in a way that fits your circumstances, strengths and vision, and also aims to reduce waiting times.
Contact our Adult Social Care Team to book an appointment, and we'll do our best to find a location and time most convenient for you.
