ETFY Specialist Speech and Language Team
Our dedicated EFTY Specialist Speech and Language Team provides additional support at all three steps of the approach. Our team includes Speech and Language Therapists, Speech and Language Therapy Assistants, and a Specialist Speech and Language Teacher.
Step 1
WellComm Training Offer
The ETFY SALTs offer training for staff to bring them up to speed on Wellcomm.
WellComm workshops
The Early Talk for York and Hub members offer follow-up training to enhance practice around Wellcomm in settings.
Step 2
Speech, language and communication training for settings
The ETFY Specialist Team offer training for settings (75% of staff) to train the workforce and help achieve Step 2 of the Early Talk for York approach.
Speech, language and communication training for childminders
The ETFY Specialist Team offer training for childminders and helps achieve Step 2 of the Early Talk for York approach.
Step 3
Bespoke access
All providers have access to a named trained professional to provide additional support and a link to ETFY Specialist Team for targeted intervention.
Advanced training
Our ETFY Specialist Team will also respond to bespoke training requests where needs are seen over a group of organisations. Talk to them about this on a case by case basis.
