With Healthy Child Service

The Healthy Child service align their practice closely with the Early Talk for York approach.

As trusted professionals who have relationships with families in their homes, they are well placed to collaborate on additional support where it is required.


Step 1

Healthy Child Service

The service use the Early Language Identification Measure to screen all children during 2 to 2.5 year review (coming soon).

Consistency

The Healthy Child Service also use the Wellcomm Toolkit with families to support intervention other than 2 to 2.5 year olds.

Collaboration

The Healthy Child Service and settings across York will be in regular contact through named professionals (coming soon).


Step 2

Support in the home

The Healthy Child Service work directly with families to support the home environment including where identified through Early Talk for York.

Integrated Support

The Healthy Child Service and settings with 2 year olds will carry out integrated review meetings for children and families who would most benefit (coming soon). Find out more about the Healthy Child Service.
