Applying for assistance with transport
Applications can be made by completing an online application form.
Further information about each type of application will be provided during the application process.
Applications for post-16 transport assistance can be made from 1 March each year and should be made within the following timescales to help ensure transport is in place for the start of term in September:
- for a bus pass – before 31 July
- for a place on a Council Funded vehicle – before 31 May
- for a Personal Transport Budget (PTB) – before 31 July
If a student has not had a place confirmed on the course of their choice they are advised to apply within the timescales above as they can amend their application at a later date.
