Chapelfields Community Association

We meet at 7:00pm on the third Monday of every month at Sanderson Court Community House, Bramham Road, YO26 5AR. We also host estate walkabouts to identify areas for improvement.

Housing Environment Improvement Programme

The Housing Environment Improvement Programme (HEIP) helps to deliver local priorities, taking feedback from tenants about the area into consideration.

Any ideas for making your area a better place to live, which might attract HEIP funding, can be submitted to your local councillor, Residents' Association, Community Involvement Officer or Housing Management Officer for discussion at a ward team meeting.

Scheme suggestions have been submitted to the HEIP Panel for consideration recently; see the list of schemes along with the Panel response.

At the HEIP Panel meeting on 3 October 2017, the following updates regarding the list of schemes which meet the criteria was received.

Annual General Meeting (AGM)

At the AGM on 21 November 2016, the members elected the following Honorary Officers:

  • The Chair
  • The Secretary
  • The Treasurer
  • The Vice Chair
  • Any other Officer as the committee may, from time to time, determine

The Management Committee consists of:

  • The Honorary Officers as above
  • Up to 8 Ordinary members
  • No more than 6 representatives of group members
  • No more than 3 persons whom the Managing Committee may co-opt

Those elected at the AGM will hold office from the conclusion of that meeting.

All the members of the Management Committee shall retire from office together at the end of the next AGM, but they may be re-elected or re-appointed.
