Bus lane enforcement on Low Poppleton Lane

Access to the bus lane on Low Poppleton Lane is restricted.

Access through Low Poppleton Lane is restricted for all motor vehicles, other than buses.

Restrictions are in place at all times, 24 hours a day 7 days a week.

Cyclists should use the shared cycle lane and footpath to the side of the carriageway.

Traffic enforcement cameras

The restrictions are enforced by automatic number plate recognition (ANPR) traffic cameras.

The ANPR cameras will capture footage of vehicles and car registration details during restricted hours. The reviewing and processing of potential PCNs is then dealt with manually.

Signs are positioned at street level to alert motorists entering Low Poppleton Lane of the restrictions.
