Based on feedback from residents, ward councillors have set the following priorities for 2018 to 2019:
- improving the local environment
- increasing community involvement
- improving access to services and support
- promoting community safety
The Ward Team will focus their work and allocate the ward budget to projects which help address these priorities. For 2018 to 2019 the ward budget allocation is £23,790. Ward Committee have decided to open the window of opportunity for community groups and charitable organisations to apply for grants from the 2018-19 ward budget.
Full applications should be received no later than Friday 27 April 2018.
Applicants will be notified of the outcome of their application in May 2018.

The ward also has an allocation of capital budget that can be utilised for improvements to the local highways infrastructure. The remaining amount for year 2018 to 2019 is £1,974, as most of the budget has already been commited to projects.
Consultations with residents take place in a variety of ways, through ward committees and team meetings. During these meetings, decisions on funding are made to allocate the ward budget in response to local needs and priorities.

The Housing Environment Improvement Programme (HEIP) supports the delivery of local priorities, specifically improvements that tenants have identified as important.
