The Hospital and Home Tuition Service aims to minimise as far as possible the disruption to normal schooling for children whose education is affected by health needs.
Some children need to be taught in hospital, at home or in Lime Trees (Child, Adolescent and Family Unit).
Close links between agencies help to maintain the educational and social links with the child’s school, and plan for the child’s return.
