If your child or children is due to move to secondary school next September, please remember to apply for their school place this month.
City of York Council is reminding parents and carers of children currently in Year 6 to apply online for their child’s school place for next year
You can apply for a maximum of five schools, but we recommend that at least one should be your child’s catchment school.
Cllr Bob Webb, the council’s Executive Member for Children, Young People and Education, said:
Moving to secondary school is an exciting time for young people and their families. I’d encourage parents and carers to apply online as soon as possible.”
