You need a zoo licence if you want to display wild animals to the public for more than 7 days each year, in any place that’s not a circus or pet shop.
The licence will be subject to fees and welfare conditions to ensure the zoo is properly managed.
You must give us at least 2 months' written notice before making an application for a zoo licence.
