If you have a visual impairment, we'll assess how you manage with everyday tasks such as reading, preparing food or getting to the local shops. We can also show you ways to get around more safely.
If you have a certificate of visual impairment, we can offer you entry on the register for people with sight impairment, which in turn offers certain benefits (but access to any care or support is not dependent on it).
Specialist equipment for visually impaired
We provide a range of specialist equipment, which can help you carry out every day tasks independently. We can also give you advice about different ways of doing things which you may find easier.
