Settings and schools can request support through the Learning Support Hub. Contact your child’s school or setting for more information.

A 'traded service' of specialist 'post 16 support' is also available for:

We have expertise in the following areas:

  • deaf and hearing support
  • vision support
  • communication and interaction, including autism support
  • physical health needs support, including the Medical Needs Teaching Team
  • specific learning difficulties

We support children and young people and their families with 'My Support Plans' and Statemented/EHCP.

The Team works to the York Children and Young People’s Plan and is one part of a range of services from the Local Authority (LA) and other agencies - work with other agencies is very important in ensuring a co-ordinated approach to planning and delivery of services.
