York’s new community stadium leisure complex heralds a new era for sports and community services in the city. It provides a new football and rugby stadium for professional and community sport as well as leisure facilities for York.
Located on Kathryn Avenue in the Huntington area (YO32 9AF), the stadium provides a unique combination of sporting, health and educational facilities.
York Community Stadium Leisure Complex includes:
- an 8,500 seater stadium for York City FC and York RLFC
- a new 13-screen IMAX cinema, and retail and restaurant outlets
- a community hub, including a library and community offices for York's sports clubs, and bookable room facilities
- York Against Cancer shop and offices
- NHS outpatient services
- new swimming facilities, gym, dance studio and sports hall with spectator seating

York Stadium Education & Training Centre will offer young people in York structured learning, qualifications and hands-on experiences for students and community members aspiring to work in the operational and business aspects of sports clubs.
