The York Stadium Leisure Complex project, or York Community Stadium, is a council-led scheme to deliver a new football and rugby stadium for professional and community sport, and leisure facilities for York.
Located on Kathryn Avenue in the Huntington area (YO32 9AF), the stadium will provide a unique combination of sporting, health and educational facilities.
















When complete, York Stadium Leisure Complex will include:
- an 8,000 seater stadium for York City FC and York City Knights RLFC
- a new IMAX cinema with 13 screens
- a community hub, including a library and community offices for York's sports clubs
- York Against Cancer shop and offices
- NHS outpatient services
- new swimming facilities, gym, dance studio and sports hall with spectator seating
- retail and restaurant outlets
- catering and hospitality areas
