Free or reduced cost childcare
You may be eligible for free childcare for your two year old, depending on your circumstances.
Application forms are available:
- online (on the YorOK website)
- at your local Children’s centre
- at your GP surgery
- in childcare settings (for example, nurseries)

Childcare for disabled children
All childcare should welcome and include disabled children, however some childcare settings provide specialist services for them.

Children's centres are places where parents, carers or families with children under 5 years old can go and use play facilities, join in groups and receive support.
