Council Tax Support eligibility
- you pay council tax
- you're on a low income or claiming benefits (including Universal Credit)
If you're claiming Universal Credit or Pension Credit it is important that you check if you are eligible for Council Tax Support.
How much Council Tax Support you get is based on your:
- household income
- savings
You won't be eligible if you have savings over £16,000, unless you receive Pension Credit Guarantee Credit.
