York residents whose homes are flooded, who have limited means and who are not adequately insured, may be eligible for help from the York Disaster Fund.

The York Disaster Fund is currently closed to all new applications.
Applications for help from the York Disaster Fund are administered by the Two Ridings Community Foundation, a registered charity set up after the flooding in 2000.
Businesses are not eligible for help from this fund.
