Jenni has been a volunteer for over 2 years at a very busy youth club based at 68 Youth and Community Centre, Monkton Road, York.
Jenni's impact
Without Jenni’s support the youth club may have had to close; she's helped to ensure that more than 30 young people have a venue for a youth club that keeps them engaged in the evenings.
Jenni has moved to support an additional youth club that was under threat of closure and given assistance to newly trained volunteers ensuring they felt valued. This has enabled more youth clubs to stay open with voluntary support.
Jenni engages with over 30 young people every week, giving them a consistent positive role model to talk to. She supports them in making informed decisions which will affect both their and our futures!
