Local employers and training providers attend York Jobs Fair

Dozens of local providers have attended this year’s York Jobs Fair, showcasing the great opportunities for training and employment that exist across the city.

Hosted at the York Railway Institute, York Jobs Fair saw around 50 York-based employers and educational institutions provide information and guidance to locals looking learn more about acquiring new skills or employment in York.

Organised through a partnership between City of York Council, York Learning and the Job Centre, the event ran from 10.00am to 2.00pm on Wednesday 6 October 2021 and was attended by a wide range of employers including Marks and Spencer, Hiscox, The Grand Hotel and North Yorkshire Fire and Rescue.
