Invite the Lord Mayor to your event

We require 21 days’ notice to consider and process requests for the Lord Mayor, Sheriff, and/or the Civic Party to attend an event virtually or to attend an event in person.

Virtual civic engagements

Owing to coronavirus (COVID-19) restrictions, staff in the Civic Party are working remotely. While meetings and engagements are being held virtually, the Lord Mayor and Civic Party welcome the opportunity to attend events via Zoom, Skype or Microsoft Teams.

Email the Civic Office with details if you'd like the Lord Mayor, Sherrif, and/or the Civic Party to:

  • be invited to your virtual event
  • record messages or send certificates in recognition of a special achievement or key date (such as a 100th birthday or 60th wedding anniversary)
