Casinos

Currently there are no casinos within the City of York Council area and therefore no fees have been set. If this position changes in the future, fees will be in place.

Family entertainment centres

Annual charge

First annual fee (payable 30 days after the grant of licence) and annual fee (payable before each anniversary of the issue of the licence):

  • adult gaming centres: £840
  • betting premises: £515
  • betting premises track: £840
  • bingo premises: £840
  • family entertainment centres: £635

Other fees

Other fees and charges that you must pay when you apply under the Gambling Act:

  • temporary use notice: £400
  • occasional use notice: NIL
  • fee for copy of licence: £25
  • fee for change of circumstance: £50
