We are looking for volunteers to get involved with the community in the Tang Hall and Heworth area. If you are interested, read more about Residents' Associations and how to set up a Residents' Association, or contact the Communities and Equalities Team for more information.

Area, projects and funding

The Tang Hall and Heworth Residents' Association represents the Hull Road and Heworth Wards - view a map of the area covered by the Association.

Housing Environment Improvement Programme

The Housing Environment Improvement Programme (HEIP) helps to deliver local priorities, taking feedback from tenants about the area into consideration.

Ideas for making your area a better place to live, which might attract HEIP funding, were submitted to your local councillor, Residents' Association, Community Involvement Officer or Housing Management Officer, for discussion at a ward team meeting.

The HEIP Panel met on 2 August to assess the suggestons. View the outcome of the assesment on scheme suggestions submitted by the Heworth Ward team and Hull Road Ward team.

The schemes that met the criteria were reviewed at the HEIP Panel meeting on 3 October 2017. View the Heworth update and the Hull Road update.
