Junior climbers competency test
Junior climbers will be allowed to climb unsupervised once they have successfully completed a competency test at a cost of £15.00.
For those aged 14 to 15 the parent or guardian must sign consent at Energise. For 16 and 17 year olds the registration form may be completed off site.
Competent junior members will then be issued with an Energise membership card. The junior competency test is a 1 hour booking with an instructor to include lead-climbing. A minimum number of 2 people need to be assessed at one time.
Scouts, guides and other youth groups are welcome to climb. A fully qualified instructor can lead and supervise groups of 3 to 6 people on the climbing wall. Ask at reception for groups larger than 6.
