Allotment charges

You can pay your allotment invoice online.

The annual charge (from January 2017) is made up of three parts:

  • the rent for your plot, which will depend on the size
  • a livestock charge, paid by tenants keeping livestock on their allotment garden.

When you first rent an allotment you will be asked to pay a deposit of £40.00, or £20.00 for concessions. If you decide to give up your allotment the deposit will be returned to you, providing you leave the plot in the condition in which you took it on, or better.

A sample allotment garden tenancy agreement is available to download. Please ensure you have read the Terms and Conditions before you apply.
