Castle Gateway Masterplan

In November and December 2017 we asked for your views on Castle Gateway ideas - although the deadline for formal feedback has passed, you can take a look at the latest information on the Castle Gateway Masterplan and join the conversation online.

The King’s Staith area is an important part of the Castle Gateway, connecting it to the rest of the city centre and Ouse Bridge. There are no potential development sites or ideas proposed at this stage, but we will look at how we can improve the area. One emerging idea is to turn the important historic route of Castlegate in to a fully pedestrianised street.
