National eCrime Investigations team
We are host to the National eCrime Investigations team. The team is tasked with tackling rogue trading activity on the internet, via text messages and other electronic means.
The small team of officers do not tend to investigate complaints directly from members of the public, although they may occasionally contact people who may be able to assist in the course of an ongoing investigation.
Cases are generally given to the team for investigation from a specialist 'Intelligence Hub'.

Information from the helpline is used by the analysts in the 'Intelligence Hub' to identify cases for the team to tackle.
