In order to carry out the following activities, both the practioners (the people who carry out the activity) and the premises where the activity takes place must be registered with us (under the 'Local Government (Miscellaneous Provisions) Act, 1982'):

  • acupuncture
  • electrolysis
  • skin piercing
  • tattooing
  • semi-permanent skin colouring

As an employer or self-employed person, you must also comply with Health and Safety laws at all times.
