Affordable housing developments

Public notice

We are currently consulting on the Local Plan Publication draft - from Wednesday 21 February, to midnight on Wednesday 4 April 2018.

Take part in the consultation

We work with a range of housing developers and registered partners (also known as housing associations) to provide new 'affordable housing' across York. In addition to 'general housing' this can include housing for people who have:

  • a disability
  • addiction or substance misuse issues
  • other specific needs

To be considered for any affordable housing development in York, for rent or for sale, you need to be registered with us. Get further information about applying to buy affordable housing.

Current affordable housing developments

  • New Lane, Huntington - this is a scheme of 87 in total, 26 of which are 'affordable'. Some of these have been delivered, with the remainder due during 2016 and 2017. Contact Broadacres Housing Association for more information.
