Apply for permits to access our HWRC sites if you have a van or trailer.
Disposal of asbestos
To dispose of asbestos from your household, you can:
- book a collection
- take it to Hazel Court HWRC

Note: We can't accept asbestos from traders.
If a tradesperson has removed asbestos on your behalf, they're responsible for disposing of it safely at an appropriate site. The Environment Agency lists local disposal facilities.
Disposal of household chemicals
We also have disposal facilities at our Household Waste Recycling Centres (HWRCs) for:
- household chemicals
- paint
We can't accept:
- petrol
- diesel
- farming chemicals
- industrial chemicals

Disposal of gas canisters/fire extinguishers
We have disposal facilities at Hazel Court HWRC for:
- gas canisters
- fire extinguishers
