Throughout November, you're invited to remember loved ones who have died recently, at events hosted by organisations across York.
You'll have the opportunity to take part in:

All residents are welcome to remember lost loved ones, particularly those who passed away during the coronavirus (COVID-19) pandemic.
|Day to remember those who have died||Tuesday 2 November||9.30am to 4.00pm||York Minster, Deangate, York YO1 7HH||A space inside York Minster to sit quietly, to reflect, to pray, and to light a candle for lost loved ones. Minster Chaplains will be available throughout the day. Members of the St Leonard’s Hospice Bereavement Support Team will be available to talk and to provide support to anyone who needs it. |Service of remembering and thanksgiving||Sunday 21 November||4.00pm||St Oswald's Church, Main Street Fulford, YO10 4HJ||A service for bereaved families who have lost loved ones during the past 18 months. Bereavement support services
St Leonard’s Bereavement Support Service provides a confidential listening service for bereaved adults living within their hospice catchment area.
The service is available to you:
- whether you're connected to hospice services or not
- regardless of when, or how, your loved one died
St Leonard's provide a confidential and safe space, through a variety of different options, for you to share, express, and understand your grief.
