Jubilee celebrations in York
As Councillor Darryl Smalley, Executive Member for Culture, Leisure and Communities, has said, "this is a once in a lifetime opportunity for communities to come together in celebration and the range of community activities available can be as diverse as our communities themselves".
Leader of the Council, Councillor Keth Aspden, said:
York has a long and proud association with the Royal Household; we want to help people make memories, show their respects to Her Majesty, celebrate her incredible record of public service, and maintain York’s proud history in the relationship with the Monarch.
