The Forgotten Corners Fund improves neglected and unloved green spaces in York by providing funding to:

  • clear vegetation or debris
  • add attractive, low maintenance landscaping
  • give local residents better access
  • improve the quality of life for residents through access or involvement

Forgotten Corners Fund project updates

News of the forgotten corners being transformed by the funding will be provided on this site.

The fund opened for applications in the summer of 2018. In September 2018, 4 projects were awarded with funds to transform Forgotten Corners across the city and work has now begun to deliver these projects.
