The European Parliamentary Elections were held on Thursday 23 May 2019.

Declaration of local totals for the City of York Council local counting area were announced by Returning Officer, Mary Weastell, on Sunday 26 May.

City of York Council, along with 20 other authorities, is part of the Yorkshire and the Humber European Region.

Leeds City Council is the lead authority for the region and any enquiries relating to the European Parliamentary Elections should be directed to the Leeds Electoral Services Office.
