York is a diverse city with many languages spoken by our residents and visitors.

Although our website and documents are written in English, you can request information in other languages and formats:

• we offer a telephone translation service; if you need to speak to us in a language other than English, contact our Customer Centre on telephone: 01904 551550
• customers who use British Sign Language (BSL) can access our BSL interpreting service when visiting West Offices, and when contacting us remotely
• if you need any of the information on this website in another language, you can request an accessible format; when you request information in another language we may provide a summary of details
