Anti-social behaviour

Anyone wanting to report anti-social behaviour can do so by calling the York Pride Action Line.

You can report problems with nuisance neighbours, rowdy behaviour, intimidation, harassment or any other anti-social behaviour issues.

Calls will be routed to either the council or North Yorkshire Police, depending on their nature. Council operators will be available from 9.00am to 5.00pm, Monday to Friday, and messages will be collected from an answer machine at other times. The police switchboard operates 24 hours a day.

York is one of 47 specially appointed 'Together' action zones, which will offer the new 'It's Your Call action line'. The aim is to make it easier for local people to report anti-social behaviour. This is a joint initiative between the council, Safer York Partnership, North Yorkshire Police and the Home Office.
