Flyposting

Flyposting is the unauthorised display of an advertisement. It can be unsightly and lead to other forms of anti-social behaviour. Your street environment officer can serve notice on those displaying or causing a flyposter to be displayed to remove it within 48 hours. Failure to remove a flyposter can result in formal enforcement action resulting in a fine of up to £2,500. Fixed penalties of £75 can also be used on those committing the offence of displaying the advertisement.

To report any flyposting contact York Pride Action line.
