Road Signs
You can apply to the council to request the provision of new direction or warning signs on a public highway.
Are there any rules?
In order to support your request we need to be satisfied that:
- there is a substantial problem
- it lasts for a fair part of the working day
- there is an actual road safety problem
- we are able to physically place the new sign in the right location
- it is allowed under the appropriate regulations as set by government
Cost
There is no cost to apply to the council to request the introduction of new direction or warning signs on a public highway.
