Houses in multiple occupancy (HMO) are occupied by more that one household. This includes shared houses, bedsi ts and houses converted into flats. If you live in a HMO in a respark zone you can get a permit if there are community bays in your zone for you to use to park your vehicle. 

Apply for a permit

The first person in a household to register for a HMO permit is issued with the authorisation card. This is shared with all residents in the HMO for buying visitor permits. You can buy up to four additional permits (see below for prices).

Application form

Download and complete the house in multiple occupancy application form.  Return the form with proof of identity, a copy of your vehicle registration document showing the relevant address and the correct payment, in person, to City Parking Services Section.

Cost

The initial cost of your permit depends when you want to buy your permit and in which zone you live. You may also be eligible for a discount if you have a short vehicle of less than 2.7m or one with low CO2 emissions.
